Raid nets cannabis haul

POLICE have raided a Pacific Pines home, uncovering a “sophisticated” grow house with 184 cannabis plants found spread across six rooms.

Officers from the Queensland drug squad yesterday raided the Angourie Crescent house over a number of hours, finding the 184 plants inside the property.

A police spokesperson said it was a sophisticated grow house and there was no one home at the time.

No charges have been laid yet and investigations are ongoing.
