out the top spot and placings at the Ryugi Vol. 10 competition in Sydney last month in every age category.

For the Nerang-based studio founders, Liam Masters and Gaz Griffith, having all of their dancers place at the event was a fantastic achievement.

“We were pretty happy with it,” Mr Masters said, adding the competition was of a “high caliber.”

“We’re really proud of them.”

The group’s youngest competition member, nine-year-old Jeff Dunne, came first in the under 12s age category, while Miku Odanaka, 11, placed second.

His older brother, Taichi Odanaka, 13, came first in the 13-17 age category.

Mr Masters said all three boys gained an international reputation when they took part in a Singapore competition earlier in the year.

Other winners in the competition were Chris Cielo in first place for the adults division while Jackson Garcia took out second place. In the 30s and over age category, Liam Masters came first.
