Nine times legal limit

A 34-YEAR-OLD man who blew more than nine times the legal limit has been charged with a raft of offences after leaving the scene of an accident in Sydney’s west.

The man struck a sign while attempting to park his vehicle in Rosehill, before attempting to leave when he hit a stationary vehicle. He was stopped nearby where he returned a breath test of 0.461.

The man was arrested when a second breath test returned a reading of 0.347 and he was charged with high-range drink driving, negligent driving and other offences. He was refused bail when he appeared in court.
