GOLD COAST COMMUNITY FUND RACE DAY Gold Coast Turf Club

THE Gold Coast Community Fund race day at GCTC was another splendid example of the giving nature of our city. About $136,000 was raised and while many people pitched in to help, special thanks need to go to Rutland Smith, Selena Magill, Greg Yong, Corey Bell and Michael Yeomans. A crowd of 370 turned out in support and while the local races were cancelled due to the weather it didn’t stop the fun and games continuing well into the afternoon. Amazing effort.
