Drugs boss extradited

A DRUG boss who skipped a Brisbane court sentencing last year has been extradited to Queensland after being nabbed interstate.

Drug kingpin Piet Luan Ta, had been facing up to 14 years jail over an interstate trafficking network but failed to appear at his sentencing in Brisbane Supreme Court in July 2016. The 32-year-old was last year named one of Queensland’s six most wanted fugitives.

Ta ran a high-level network that distributed cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin and cannabis across Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia and was well known by bikies.
