Baby ‘was neglected’

A MAN has been charged with child neglect after authorities found a seriously malnourished four-month-old baby in a home on the NSW-Victorian border.

Police say the baby boy, who was “suffering from neglect”, was found at an Albury home in March following a domestic violence report.

A 22-year-old woman has previously been charged in relation to the matter. The 20year-old man is scheduled to appear at Albury Local Court on June 6 charged with failing to provide for a child.
