Coast firm adds to its vet centres

-

ORMEAU-BASED National Veterinary Care has settled on the sale of another clinic in New Zealand.

NVL announced the $NZ1 million acquisition of the Christchurch-based clinic earlier this month.

The purchase takes it to 10 vet services businesses across the ditch with an additional 45 in Australia. NVL said the clinic has been operating for more than 20 years and offers “high standards of professionalism and care”.

Managing director Tomas Steeanckers said it has settled on the purchase of 14 clinics this financial year, adding: “This is an exciting achievement for NVL after being listed on the ASX for 20 months, which demonstrates NVL’s ability to acquire and integrate veterinary service businesses.”

NVL shares closed down 8¢ or 3.3 per cent at $2.32.
