Mr Marquardt said the school had no plans to close the Sunshine Ave campus in Tweed Heads South.

The school has 350 students from preschool to year 4.

Lindisfarn­e opened the Sunshine Ave school in 1981 and expanded to the Mahers Lane campus in 1996.

The Mahers Lane land is zoned R1, which permits residentia­l developmen­t.

Colliers Internatio­nal Gold Coast’s Darrell Irwin, who negotiated the deal with colleague Geoff Lamb, said it was a good result all round.
