Woods’ bad meds day

TIGER Woods said an “unexpected reaction” to prescription medicine was behind his arrest on a DUI charge that landed him in a Florida jail on Monday for nearly four hours.

The 14-time major golf champion, who had back surgery five weeks ago, was arrested on suspicion of DUI at about 3am on Monday and taken to Palm Beach County jail. He was released on his own recognisance.

Woods, 41, apologised for the incident and said he would do all in his power to ensure it never happened again.
