Pair to headline Coast’s inclusions

-

THE cavalry is set to arrive for the Suns, with Gary Ablett and Matt Rosa firming as inclusions to line up against West Coast.

While the Eagles have lost star forward Josh Kennedy for three weeks, Gold Coast are set to benefit from the return of former West Coast player Rosa, who appears on-track to pass his final concussion protocols after a Round 6 knock.

“Matt’s had a couple of interrupted weeks with his concussion,” Suns football manager Marcus Ashcroft told the club’s website.

“He’s made great progress the last week, if he gets through all the protocols this week, which we’re expecting him to do, he should play.”

Ablett, too, is set to return after a shoulder complaint.

“We were all looking forward to Gary playing,” Ashcroft said.

“He’s done a lot of work over the weekend to get in a position where he should line up on Saturday afternoon.”

After an extended period on the sidelines, draftee Ben Ainsworth has made a full recovery from his corked thigh.

It’s a similar story for Mitch Hallahan and Rory Thompson, who are both expected to be declared fit by club medicos.
