Suntown Tip row over

A PRIVATE settlement has been made between the Gold Coast City Council and Arundel residents in relation to the controversial Suntown Tip.

Legal action was launched in 2013 with Arundel Hills Estate residents claiming gases from the tip were lowering their property prices.

A resident last night told Channel Nine News a settlement had been made out of court and the details were confidential. The resolution ends more than a decade of protests.
