Holzberger a Bonney choice for new seat

-

ROWAN Holzberger, the man who gave Southport incumbent Rob Molhoek a run for his money in 2015, has been chosen as the Labor candidate for the central Gold Coast seat of Bonney.

Mr Holzberger (pictured), a former construction and insurance industry worker, was yesterday announced as the ALP candidate for the new seat centred around Labrador and Biggera Waters. Mr Holzberger, 44, is the second Labor candidate to be chosen on the Gold Coast.

He will face Sam O’Connor, an employee of Fadden MP Stuart Robert, who will contest the seat for the LNP.

“I’ll be talking myself hoarse and wearing out shoe leather right up to election day to win the support of Bonney residents,” said Mr Holzberger.
