Wilson has repeatedly insisted that her great-aunt Lillian married Walt Disney.

“It is just something I’ve always known. It is like knowing who your parents are,” she told the court during her seven days in the witness box.

Wilson said her grandmothe­r had researched the family tree and had investigat­ed whether the family were entitled to any Disney royalties.

When asked whether she seriously thought the story of her being related to Disney was more than simple fantasy, Wilson said: “Definitely.”

Yesterday, the star’s sister, Liberty, said she was so convinced of the connection she wanted to name her own daughter Disney but eventually settled on Sovereign.

Wilson is suing over eight articles published in 2015 she says painted her as a serial liar and saw her sacked from two movies and unable to secure major roles.
