Hurt after casino fight

A MAN suffered facial injuries in a drunken altercation outside the Star Gold Coast on Friday night.

The 38-year-old man was reportedly unconscious for several minutes before he was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Matthew Waij, 35, was charged with grievous bodily harm.
