Varsity unit up in flames

FIRE engulfed a unit at Varsity Lakes early Saturday morning but no-one was hurt.

Firefighters were called to the blaze on Geraldton Drive about 1.30am.

The unit was ‘well involved’ when they arrived and it was 3am before the fire was extinguished. All residents were accounted for and the cause of the fire was being investigated.
