“It took me a few weeks to realise the best thing I could do for him was keep his legacy going and keep this alive because that was something we’d talked about a long time ago.”

Mr Teamoke recalled his disbelief upon hearing of Mr Ofner’s death.

“My heart was aching for his daughter Kyarna, that’s the first thing that went through my head,” Mr Teamoke said.

“I don’t know if we’ll really ever know what happened but there’s not a day he doesn’t cross my mind.”

Mr Ofner, an aspiring actor and fitness freak, was accidental­ly shot dead on the set of a Bliss n Eso film clip in Brisbane.
