Brabham downshifts

GEOFF Brabham, a winner in the famous Le Mans motor race, has gone down a gear in the Gold Coast property market.

He’s sold a five-bedroom waterfront home in Sorrento, which was first marketed in 2015 at $2.9 million, for $2.595 million. That property, owned for 21 years, has been replaced with a $1.7 million four-bedroom waterfront abode in Saywell St, also in Sorrento.

Geoff won the Le Mans race in 1993. In 1997 he won the Bathurst 1000 Super Touring Race with brother David.
