CHANDLER BING (FRIENDS) Could he be any funnier? Chandler may have had a hard time getting laughs from his besties in the show, but for all of those watching at home he had us in stitches.

SHELDON COOPER (BIG BANG THEORY) Bazinga! You might not be sure whether to love or hate him, but admit it, some of his antics had you rofling.

MR BEAN Remember that time you laughed so hard you cried? Yep, it was probably because Mr Bean “accidental­ly” backed into that ridiculous three-wheeled car. Again.

ELAINE BENES (SEINFELD) Get out! Yes, our fave TV series ex-girlfriend Elaine could be a little too blunt but she was always hilarious.

PHOEBE BUFFAY (FRIENDS) Our favourite kooky vegetarian. Who could forget her Smelly Cat song or that time she gave birth to her, er, brother’s babies?

ELLIOT REID (SCRUBS) She put her foot in her mouth at every opportunit­y but we still love her. Let’s face it, her social awkwardnes­s was endearing.

LIZ LEMON (30 ROCK) She is a bit geeky and packs away junk food like no one else can, but Liz’s daily struggles are also totally hilariousl­y relatable.

KITTY FORMAN (THAT 70S SHOW) The happiest housewife ever, Kitty always made us laugh. Who wouldn’t want her as their own mum?

MALCOLM (MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE) He had an IQ of 165 and a photograph­ic memory, but even Malcolm couldn’t get out of some ridiculous­ly funny situations.

CAMERON TUCKER (MODERN FAMILY) Our favourite emotional gay guy, Cam loves to be the centre of attention. He’s just quirky funny!
