Tweed paper joins Suns Greater reach for community products
CHANGES are under way at the Bulletin’s sister publication the Gold Coast Sun to make the weekly newspaper more relevant to our valued readers and advertisers.
The three Gold Coast Suns editions – Northern, Central and Southern – have had their distribution boundaries changed to better serve the communities these papers cover. The editorial team is also planning to make stories more hyper-local and relevant.
The most significant change is that the Upper North and Northern Sun editions have been combined, with the Upper North no longer publishing.
From this week Upper North readers will receive all their regular local news in the Northern edition. In another change, the Southern Sun will be published every Wednesday from this week, not on Thursday.
We are also excited to announce the Tweed Daily News is joining our suite of highly read and valued titles in this part of the world. It means our distri- bution footprint in the region expands, with our products now reaching 155,500 homes, apartments and businesses on the Coast and Tweed. It gives advertisers more options and readers a bigger range of stories.
Gold Coast Bulletin and Suns general manager Clare Starling said the changes would give the Sun and Tweed newspapers and websites a greater ability to inform, advocate and inspire businesses and residents to build a better region.
“For our valued clients this enables you to tap into our expertise to impact, influence and inform our audience on your brand, products and services.”
Mrs Starling said the editorial and advertising teams were as committed as ever to serving their communities and delivering the news relevant to each readership. You can contact editorial or advertising on 5584 2400.
