The new Gogglebox

FOXTEL has announced the cast for new Aussie show Common Sense, from the makers of Gogglebox Australia.

Common Sense, which premieres on July 5, features 24 people, aged from 21 to 92, in ten workplaces, giving their views on the week’s news.

The announcement comes as a media expert predicts local content will give Foxtel the edge in its war against streaming rivals Netflix and Stan.

Foxtel’s drama hits Wentworth and A Place to Call Home have been joined by Fighting Season, about Aussie soldiers returning from Afghanistan.
