Donkey killed in zoo fight

-

SHOCKING footage has emerged of a donkey being pushed into a tigers’ enclosure and eaten alive at a Chinese zoo – and it’s all due to a bitter dispute over money.

Horrified visitors to the zoo in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, watched on as five men tossed the terrified donkey from the back of a truck into the moat surrounding the enclosure.

In graphic video of the incident, posted on YouTube and viewed over 300,00 times, the donkey can been seen fighting against the men before plunging into the water below. Soon after the tigers close in.

According to reports, the donkey fought with at least four tigers for up to half an hour before it was killed.

Local Chinese media reported the donkey was the victim of a disagreement over money between investors in the zoo.

Witnesses said a shareholder in the zoo attempted to take some of the animals out of the zoo, including the donkey, a sheep and a goat, in order to sell them but was stopped by security.

The men in the truck then drove up to the tigers’ enclosure and pushed the donkey in, before being stopped by zoo employees from throwing a sheep into the pit.
