Bid to ban animal tests
POPULAR beauty brand The Body Shop is behind a global push to ban cosmetics testing on animals, taking the campaign all the way to the United Nations.
The Body Shop will launch a new campaign for the testing ban by 2020, revolutionising the beauty industry and protecting millions of animals.
Partnering with anti-animal cruelty organisation Cruelty Free International, The Body Shop will take the campaign to the highest authority.
They aim to have 8 million people sign a petition calling for the introduction of an international convention to end the practice.
The petition can be signed online or at any of The Body Shop’s 3000 stores worldwide.
