Sessions to face music

US ATTORNEY General Jeff Sessions will this week testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee where he will face questions over his meetings with Russian officials during last year’s presidential election campaign.

Sessions, a long-time senator before being tapped by US President Donald Trump as the nation’s top law officer, announced the decision at the weekend.

Sessions will face questions just days after explosive testimony by ousted FBI director James Comey, whose removal he recommended.
