The Food Safari is a progressiv­e dinner through The Kitchens. Choose one of two food trails to enjoy drinks, canapés and a three-course meal. On the menu is plant-based restaurant Elixiba, Venezuelan eatery Fiery Deli, “eatertainm­ent” at Saiko Teppanyaki and coffeefuel­led fare at Crafted Coffee Co. Tickets are $60 plus booking fee.

As part of Eat Local Week, buy tickets for Lunch with the Lambs at Towri Sheep Cheese – shared courses created by Spicers Group executive chef Cameron Matthews. Bespoke cheeses and Scenic Rim produce will feature in the dishes, which will be paired with local wines and beverages. Carolyn Davidson will welcome you to take a seat at the long table setting at her property and your heart will melt when you get to cuddle a lamb. Cost is $125 per person.

JULY 1

Eat Local Week’s signature event, The Winter Harvest Festival features producers, suppliers, retailers and chefs from across the region, allowing visitors to eat their way around the Scenic Rim. Tasting plates, wines and fresh produce will be on sale and a highlight of the day is the Tractor Pulling Competitio­n, which pits teams against a 12-tonne tractor. Runs from 10am to 4pm at the Aratula Community Sports Centre. Tickets $10 and children under 12 free (ticket still required).
