Barnes set for Byron

-

TOO much ain’t enough for Jimmy Barnes. Fresh from winning the biography category at the Australian Book Industry Awards, the rasp-voiced rocker will be a star at the Byron Writers Festival.

Barnes’s debut book Working Class Boy, about his tough childhood, became a No. 1 seller and his follow-up, Working Class Man, picks up where the first book left off

The festival, from August 4-6, will also see legendary singer/songwriter Tex Perkins talk about his autobiography.

Richard Roxburgh, star of Rake, will take the audience behind the scenes of the popular series. He will also talk about his first children’s book, Artie and the Crime Wave, and perform at the Kids Big Day Out.
