Aus Fair advances

-

STAGE one of Australia Fair’s $25 million redevelopment is on track to be completed before Christmas.

More than 10 new stores will open in the Southport shopping centre by the end of the year including Colette by Colette Hayman, LiquorLand, Zaia Handbags, U Grill, Green Valley Butcher, Joy Stylist and Clearskincare Clinics.

Work is also underway on an expansion to the Coles store which will increase its floor space to 4222 sqm and see the inclusion of specialty butchery, seafood and bakery kiosks.

Australia Fair general manager Ramon Otten said the first stage of the redevelopment was well on track.

“The upgrades to the ground-floor mall and expansion of Coles will create a whole new look and feel to this part of the centre,” he said.

More than $15 million has already been spent on the now complete rejuvenation of the centre’s western section, Australia Fair Metro.
