Appeal for volunteers

ST JOHN’S Anglican Church in Surfers Paradise is appealing for volunteers to keep their nightly crisis centre open for the homeless this winter.

Hot meals, weekly dental and grooming services and welfare assistance are available to homeless at the crisis centre but manager Jon Brook said they needed about 12 volunteers to help with operations.
