Hard work honoured

SIX hardworking locals have been honoured in the Burleigh Heads Rotary Club’s first Disability Community Recognition Awards Dinner.

Allaine Stent from Currumbin Valley Riding for the Disabled, Nicola Wassell from Currumbin Community Special School, Lisa Westwood from Caningeraba State School special needs section, Connie O’Malley from Carers Queensland’s Burleigh Heads team, Lynette Glover from Gold Coast Polio Network and Anne Blank from Touch Football Specialised were all recipients of the awards.
