Myles’ Melbourne move

-

NATE Myles has completed a mid-Origin transfer with the veteran Maroons enforcer yesterday quitting Manly to join ladder leaders Melbourne.

Just 24 hours after being axed from the Queensland side for Origin II, the 32-game Maroons stalwart has been granted a release by the Sea Eagles to bolster an injury-ravaged Storm outfit.

The Storm were hopeful of having Myles on deck for Saturday night’s clash against the Cowboys at AAMI Park, but his Melbourne debut will have to wait after he was ruled out with an elbow injury.

Myles was initially linked with Melbourne two years ago when he quit the Titans.

Myles will link with some familiar faces at the Storm, having played alongside Cameron Smith and Cooper Cronk.
