Charged with killing tot

A MAN has appeared in court charged with murdering his partner’s two-year-old son in 2015. Joel Nicholas Kuskey, 28, appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court yesterday a day after being arrested and charged for the April 2015 death of Joshua Migala in Kingston, south of Brisbane.

Police allege Kuskey inflicted “horrific injuries” upon Joshua some time before the boy was discovered unconscious in the unit Kuskey shared with the boy’s mother.

The matter has been adjourned until August 17.
