Major says dump deal

-

THE DEAL between the Tories and the DUP threatens the very fabric of peace in Northern Ireland, according to former PM Sir John Major.

The Sun reports Mr Major, who helped guide the Good Friday Agreement into existence, made a pointed intervention as Theresa May holds talks with Arlene Foster.

Speaking to the BBC, Mr Major also said any agreement to get the support of the DUP’s 10 MPs in order to pass laws would lead to anger in the other regions – and cost the Conservatives votes in another election.
