Extra help for teachers

EVERY school in Queensland will now have a full-time teacher’s aid in their prep classroom, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced.

Ms Palaszczuk said the 2017-18 budget measure would deliver an extra 100 teacher’s aids to provide additional classroom support across the state.

The announcement was made in response to feedback from teachers who had campaigned for extra help, the Premier said.
