A community-minded group of ladies tucked into Italian cuisine and charged their glasses while helping raise money for a local school. Cheers!
OUR children are the future. With that simple statement in mind 80 community-minded ladies gathered for lunch at Cicchetti Italian restaurant in Capri on Via Roma. The reason was to help the children at St Kevin’s Catholic School in Benowa by raising money for the school via the Parents and Friends Association. Around $17,000 in donated goods and services from local businesses were available via raffle prizes or auctions demonstrating a wonderful community spirit.
