Aussie chiefs wait for Geitz

DIAMONDS coach Lisa Alexander is awaiting a decision from Laura Geitz about her playing future as selectors prepare to finalise the squad for the Commonwealth Games after tomorrow’s Super Netball grand final.

Alexander and selectors Anne Sargeant and Michelle Wilkins will meet on Sunday to select their extended squad for the Gold Coast Games.

Geitz is weighing up whether to make a return to netball to help the Diamonds’ quest after becoming a first-time mother in February.
