Hodges has Boyd advice

Former Origin great Justin Hodges believes this is simple formula that can ensure Darius Boyd makes a success of his controversial switch from fullback to left centre for Origin II in Sydney.

Boyd has never played the position in Origin but Hodges senses he can adapt.

“The Queensland way has been built on trusting the blokes inside and outside you,’’ Boyd said.

“It’s mateship that has been built on trust. For Darbs it will be a matter of trusting Jonno (Thurston) inside him.

“They have played a lot of Origin matches together. Even if it is a matter of him making sure he does not turn out too early.”
