Operation nabs bikie

POLICE have charged a bikie member after he was allegedly found with drugs and a weapon during a traffic operation in Numinbah Valley.

The 37-year-old Mongol bikie member from Gaven was charged with a number of offences, including driving while under influence of drugs, possess dangerous drug, possess property suspected in drug offence, two counts of unlawful possession of a restricted drug, unlawful possession of M weapon and possess dangerous drug.

Another three people were charged with seven offences.

The 37-year-old will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on July 26.
