Unit sale’s half a deal

MAIN Beach unit owners who hoped to sell their neighbouring lowrise buildings as a development site for $11 million have half a deal.

A buyer has surfaced for one of the Pacific St properties, Worabinda, but apparently is not interested in the adjoining Trigara Lodge.

Last year it was revealed that former Sheraton Mirage management figures Peter Madrers and Paul Brinsmead had an option on the two properties and planned a 29level tower.
