Gates open for rights

-

IT appears that at last the management rights to landmark Surfers Paradise apartment tower the Golden Gate might finally be heading out the gate and into new ownership.

Receivers have been trying for nearly three years to cement a deal on the rights, which provide a net income of around $170,000 a year.

The new owner gets title to a one-bedroom unit in the 176apartment tower, plus reception area and offices.
