Re Melbourne footpath driver John

That’s the most negative glass half full text I've possibly read. John, we fools, we do look out for each other and authorities. Ridiculous comments John. Radish

To say we as Australians need to get used to collateral damage and the public need to adjust their expectations! You talk like we’re needing to be proactive and keep our way of life and that means council and governments need to put actions together to allow us to do so.

Re- Trump/Turnbull speech. Expectation that it should be not disclosed. Same rules leads to corruption and political blackmail. People of standing just have to be more discerning and choose appropriately. The public have a right to know. John, Sydney

GC rate payers don’t want to be paying millions for dredging for ‘Superyachts’, where it’s known tonnes of drugs are delivered. Time to recognise this! The CST? Has the ‘Floating Factory’ already begun? Great timing...Poor Whales. J

Let’s get something straight a multiple lane highway left lane is called the outside lane, not the inside lane. When you go outside your front door you are stepping outside not inside. John highway construction engineer.

The only thing that Trump and Turnbull have got in common is neither will finish their term in office. James P McGuire.

Here to stay Kiwi. Aussies will always return to their homeland to live. NZers will never return to their country. New Zealand’s economy is doomed with the mass exodus to Australia. If we don’t stop accepting immigrants from NZ our economy and job availability will suffer having to carry this burden. Close the door now and save both of our countries. Laza

Regarding the traffic woes on the Gold Coast. It is time that we use the Brisbane model and spend money on overpasses rather than just on traffic lights. Build the overpasses now or we will all suffer in the future Lazat widening roads. Over passes along Bundall Road will mean that traffic will continue to flow without having to stop at the huge numb.

The Gold Coast Suns AFL struggle financially to keep the boys playing each game. They definitely don’t have the cashflow to support a womens team. Womens’ footy costs the clubs, and makes no profit.

So councillors of GCCC, how do we stand with the fire safety measures in the increasing number of mega high-rises you approve? In the meanwhile council supervision of building practices had fallen to nil, developers pride in building quality to zilch, trade-offs. Thank u GCCC for creating a non-desirable city. Go jump. for carparking n landscaping go into pockets... and the GC had become the Greedy Coast. Yea. Open urinals for mega-bucks. Moral insanity.

Totally agree - companies selling on tv should display prices ... years ago I rang to give credit card details & they still wouldn’t disclose price!! So I didn't buy ... it has always bothered me they can get away with that!!!

Pop up bollards now Tom. Perhaps they could be hooked up to the pop up toilets! PJ. Robina.

Teach the young and Audi drivers to keep left unless overtaking and it will flow a whole lot better.
