Drugs find at airport
A MAN has been arrested in northern NSW after police found drugs on him at the Ballina-Byron Airport carpark.
Tweed/Bryon police yesterday stopped and searched the man around 3.30pm in the car park, before allegedly finding 11g of methylamphetamine and a small amount of ketamine.
The 41-year-old man was arrested and taken to Ballina Police Station.
Police also searched the man’s home, finding a number of items which were seized for further examination.
The man has been charged with supply prohibited drug (greater than indictable quantity) and two counts of possess prohibited drug.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Ballina Local Court on Thursday 13 July 2017.
Investigations are ongoing.
