Bali visitors eating dog

AUSSIE tourists have been duped into eating dog meat in Bali, unknowingly supporting a shocking racket which sees dogs stolen, bludgeoned and poisoned and then sold as food.

Activist group Animals Australia has released disturbing footage of dogs being captured and slaughtered by Balinese gangs.

Popular street food stalls then sell the meat to tourists and lie about what it is.

“This is a profoundly distressing situation. Not only is the suffering of the dogs horrifying, tourists are unwittingly fuelling the trade,” Animals Australia’s Lyn White said.

Horror images captured by an investigator show dogs being hanged on trees, shot and poisoned.
