Tribute to contestant

AUSTRALIAN Ninja Warrior will pay tribute to contestant Johann Ofner who passed away in January while filming a music video for Bliss n Eso.

Gold Coast stuntman Ofner, 28, was fatally injured when a prop gun discharged on set, having previously filmed on the show. “That was a really tragic set of circumstances and he was one of our great competitors,” co-host Rebecca Maddern said. “I understand there will be a small tribute to him at the end of one of the shows out of respect which has been agreed upon with family.”
