Bus, taxi in fatal crash

A WOMAN was killed and two elderly women suffered serious injuries after a collision between a minibus and a taxi in regional Victoria.

Victoria Police believe the taxi, carrying two passengers, T-boned the minibus about 3.30pm yesterday near the town of Ardmona, about two hours north of Melbourne.

Emergency services treated 14 people in total.

Two elderly women were flown to hospital – one in her 80s suffered head, pelvis and facial injuries, and another in her 90s had head and arm injuries.
