THESE LITTLE ROCKERS NOSE HOW TO DANCE

- AMANDA ROBBEMOND

RED NOSE Day might be in its 29th year but the novelty of wearing a big bright nose for charity hasn’t worn off for these kids.

They will be dancing the day away on June 30 as they join over 50,000 preschoolers across Australia rocking out to the Little Rockers Red Nose Disco on the iHeart Radio app.

The Labrador Goodstart Childcare Centre is one of two centres participating on the Gold Coast, where they will ask for a gold coin donation for the disco day. According to the charity, nine children die each day due to sudden unexpected death in infancy (SIDS).

“After losing my precious nephew to SIDS at 16 months of age, I experienced first-hand the amazing support Red Nose offer for bereaved families,” founder of Little Rockers Radio Sarah Morrissey said.

All money raised will go to fund research into the causes of stillbirth and SIDS, with more than $16.7 million raised so far. Red noses, plush toys and key rings can be bought online or at Big W, Target and CUA.
