Re: Grenfell building inferno. There are a lot of buildings built on the cheap with plastic coated foam here from China. Go back to bricks concrete. Those ugly prickly ceilings in old buildings are more fire retardant than linings used today. - Thorted

Is it any wonder the place is in a mess? Highway engineer saying the left lane is outside lane. Hello, when you pass a car you are supposed to pass on the outside, so what our engineer is saying pass on the left! We are all in trouble with people like this with engineering degrees. – Glyn

Just received my driver’s licence renewal. It appears I have two choices, either renew on-line or in person. Lots of information which is great but nowhere does it tell me the cost. Probably too scared to put it in print. – GT
