FORMER TITAN TURNS BLOCKHEAD
CHANNEL 9 will throw celebrities into the mix to compete against everyday people in its reality TV juggernaut The Block.
Nine last night unveiled its latest batch of Blockheads. The 2017 line-up includes former NRL star Clint Amos, 34, and his wife Hannah, 31, who will tackle their first renovation.
Amos played for the Gold Coast Titans, Queensland Cowboys and Melbourne Storm during his 10-year professional career.
He and Hannah, who also applied to be on the show last year, have two children, Finn, 5, and Poppy, 3.
“I’ve got mixed feelings about leaving the kids,” Mrs Amos said. “But we’re doing this for our family.”
Also featuring are Melbourne-based model and social media influencer Elyse Knowles, 24, and her carpenter boyfriend Josh Barker, 27. Knowles has 600,000 followers on Instagram and has worked for Billabong and Guess. The Block airs later this year.
