SWEET REUNION FOR GEORGINA

IN 1992 Georgina Denahy headed to Bangkok to represent Australia in the Miss Universe Quest.

Last week, 25 years later, she joined 22 of those women in Barcelona for the first-ever Miss Universe reunion.

“It was amazing,” she said. “Miss Netherlands tracked down as many of the girls as she could. One flew in on a private jet, others have divorced, some are grandmothers, but it was as if nothing had changed over the years. We did flamenco classes, laughed a lot and they looked amazing, none have had facelifts. A documentary crew filmed us and we have plans to do another reunion in a few years.”
