Day rebuilds confidence
AUSTRALIAN Jason Day has vowed not to dwell on a disappointing US Open campaign, with this week’s Travellers Championship his final hit-out before the British Open.
World No.4 Day will peg it up at TPC River Highlands in Connecticut today, looking to bounce back from his first missed cut in seven starts at the year’s second major.
“I felt like (the US Open) was my best preparation going into a major so to not be there on the weekend was a disappointment,” Day said.
