GREAT SCOTT, THEY’RE TOUGH

ONE man nervously riding every tackle and cheering on his Queensland team mates in The Garden at The Star on Wednesday night was Maroon and Australian prop Matt Scott.

“Thumper” was a special guest and understandably was mobbed for selfies by passionate supporters of both sides.

After the dust had settled on another bruising encounter, we asked him how long it takes to recover after a match.

“Well we are used to it,” he said with a grin. “Usually I would be playing about three days later for North Queensland but it takes at least a week for the soreness to disappear.”

In our humble opinion they don’t pay them enough.
