Tsonga can’t stand heat

-

JO-WILFRIED Tsonga joined the exodus of seeds at Queen’s Club in England after being outplayed by Luxembourg’s Gilles Muller, who last week won the title in Den Bosch.

Tsonga, seeded five, had no answer to left-hander Muller’s swinging serve as he bowed out yesterday 6-4, 6-4.

With on-court temperatures nudging 40C, Tsonga looked as listless.

Former champion Grigor Dimitrov was in trouble when he lost the first set to France’s Julien Benneteau but recovered to win 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.
